KYOTO TOWER SANDO Reopens April 22 (Sat)!!

¥ KYOTO TOWER SANDO reopening on April 22, 2023! ／

We will update to a place where you can meet the "now" of the city of Kyoto, such as expanding the cafe area and providing a space with public art. The new concept is “Kyo-Lounge” which is the must for your trip to Kyoto! It will evolve into a place where you can meet the charm of the city of Kyoto that you could not meet near the station.

<Renewal point> Opening of popular stores scattered throughout Kyoto Prefecture and expanding the cafe area

7 popular shops and shops scattered throughout Kyoto Prefecture will open. "STARBUCKS" has been renewed to a store with the largest area and number of seats in the Kyoto station area, and "KYOTO TOWER SANDO FOOD HALL" on the first basement floor has been increased to about 450 seats to enhance the space where you can relax while eating and drinking. It can be used in various scenes in front of Kyoto Station, such as meeting and effective use of the gap time to the Shinkansen.

<Renewal point> Set up a public art "One Clothes of Poetry" in collaboration with Tahi Saika, a contemporary poet popular among a wide range of generations

Mainly on the first basement floor, we will develop a public art "One Sweat of Poetry" using poems written by Mr. Tahi Saika for this facility. This art is scattered throughout the museum, and you can enjoy encountering "words" while walking around the museum.
